Zoas not opening

Hi guys I've recently been having some trouble with my zoas.I am new to this hobby and would enjoy some feedback. I got some good quality zoas with about 10-15 zoas each. Every time I put them in the tank the stay open for about a day and the close for no apparent reason. I have not dipped them in any solution. I have noticed although that there are these white things on my corals that were on both frags and I am positive that the reason for them dying and not opening. Any help would be great and I ordered coralrx. -Ben

By white things do you mean spots or like something that moves like maybe flat worms. If it's flatworms there are wrasses that will eat them.

may be coincidental but I added vitamin C and polyps started opening up....
