Zoa's won't open anymore

I have 2 types of Zoa's (forgot names) that are still spreading, but they won't open up for some reason. They used to until I changed around my rock work around two months ago. Now, they look like this image:

Any idea what could be causing this? Specs:
-tank size: 450g
-lighting: 4 250w MH 20K Radium's
-flow: ~40x - mainly 2 MP60's (does cause a lot of undertow)
-placement: at bottom (4" from bottom in a 30" high tank)
-dKH: 8-9
-fish: mostly Tang's, nothing picks on the Zoa's

Let me know what other specs you need to diagnose.

Good that you forgot the names!! LOL!!!

Not too bad at all!!
Just wait and let it adapt to the new spot.
Make sure your hands are out of the tank!!
Continue to do your regular maintenance schedule!

Not bad. If they are spreading that is always a good sign. Are you moving them around since the original move? Any difference between the flow they were in 2 months ago and the flow they are in now?

I have not moved them since the new rockwork was done 2 months ago, but I have changed the flow several times while playing around with my MP60's (was having issues with both). The undertow used to be so highly excessive from the MP60's (while on 100%) that it would push my sand into unwanted piles; now I keep the MP60's at 75% or lower.

Re: Temp - it does vary a little more than I would like, especially now that winter has kicked in. Gets as low as 77-77.5 and as high as 80.5-81 in the same day. So possibly a 4 degree swing, but usually is closer to a 3 degree swing. But, this is nothing out of usual from when they would open up the year prior.
