anyway, these eagle eyes are growing off their disk onto the much larger rock upon which the disk sat. it looks like they will be growing off in three distinct directions.


after they have 'grown off' can i just sever the disk colony from the (three) rock colonies and move the disk somewhere else to start over?

how many poyps should i let grow on the rock before i make them live on their own?

how will i know they are 'mature' enough to be left behind?

yea,you should be able to cut the disk out.Just cut the mat aroun the disk after a couple of polyps are on the rock and are opening up good.
