Zoo lighting decision

I currently have a 55gal tank with a Current USA PC Orbit fixture that sits on the tank. It has 2 65w dual daylight and 2 65w dual actinic. dm 48x8.5x4.5

The plan is to go with a 75gal RR later on, so I want a light to go with both a 55g and 75g.

Wanting MH with actinic on tank fixture, but are too heavy and wide, like the coralife MH and Actinic is 15 inches wide, and I don't want to hang a light off the wall or ceiling it possible.

Would a current usa sunpod with 2x150w 14,000k with lunar lights with out actinics work?

I could change the bulbs to 20,000 k maybe.

Zoos I have just have not spread well in 2 years, and I have them on top of the rock.

Appreciate any advice or product ideas.

is money a big deal? b/c those light fixtures you are talking about are ridiculously expensive considering you can spend less than half to get retro kits and do it DIY.

that, and IMO all coralife fixtures are junk. every fixture i have ever gotten from them always had lose parts inside, lose connections, and didnt stand up to the wear and tear of the hobby.

as far as bulb temps. thats totally personal preference, IMO zoas look best anywhere from 14k to 20k.

I love my 2 175watts over my FOWLR. But im adding my zoas to it lol. I have the same lighting on my 55gal reef also and all my zoas love it.

I agree surf, I don't care for coralife. I do like my current orbit extremely well.

The current usa sunpod is expensive and does not have actinics.

Another thing I realized is my bulbs are a year old in my orbit. That may be part of the problem with my zoos going down hill in the last 3 months.
