anyone had problems with one of these i have the larger one and have gone through 3 of them the sweep keeps breaking when it workes it causes a good sweeping flow and i would like to keep it but exchanging it every 3 days sucks anyone have same problems or anyone have one that works and for how long thank you for reading

I've gone through 4. 1 worked almost flawlessly. The rest were junk

Yeah throw it in the trash. Mine sticks all the time so I just put it in my frag tank where it doesn't really matter. I even tried to repair/mod it once to make the little post that is on the gear that turns it stronger since mine had broken off and had stopped working even after making stronger it still didn't work.

Used three for a couple years, work fine as long as you keep them clean. Not really a big deal to strip them down and soak in vinegar every several weeks.

Mine stopped sweeping from side to side. Keep it clean all you want, it won't be anything more than a PAIN IN THE ....

It still runs though ... just stopped sweeping.

Maxi Jets are a good power head.
