Zooman's various nano-reefs.....

Getting ready to take some better/ newer pics soon, and I have not posted any tank pictures previously, so I thought I would try to throw these up as a "primer" so to speak.

I have 5 at home: 20g long, 20g high, 15g extra high, 10g standard, and 3g picotope. I do have a new "rainbow" trachyphyllia that I picked up locally a couple of weeks ago that is fantastic (at least for the price) that I will have to grab a photo of too. I am fighting a couple of small patches of bryopsis in the 20g high still - damn emerald crabs (2 small) won't eat it in this tank, but the big one in the 20g long mows it right down, especially if I move stuff with it into his tank - it is gone the next day!

I also have 2 nanos at the office: 5g standard and 2.5g standard, but no pics of these yet.

These will probably come up as smaller attachments - I will have to read up on posting full-size pics....first 5 photos here followed by next 5 in second post.

I will have to add the 2 office tanks (these are from my home office), and will have to update these soon - still figuring out the workings of my "older" Kodak 4mp, and the light balance "thing" probably could be dabbled with. I just figured after all these years - the 20g long has been around for 7 years - I should probably post something....

Yeah, there must be something wrong with me - I also have 8 freshwater tanks ranging in size from 1-55 gallons here at home and now 2 in the office, plus the terrariums.....and the collection has been downsized recently - no more reptiles!

Still have that empty 125 in the basement too.....

The 125 you can make into an Amazon Biotope....0o0o0o, that sounds nice to mee! lol

nothing wrong with you at all....shoot...90g, 55g, 120g....5g FW....15g (not sure what it's going to be)over here. Ideally....i just want to live on the ocean so i could snorkle or dive every day...it really is the "final frontier"....to me anyway.

Tanks look great....though you must be a glutton for punishment. It would be WAY easier to maintain one 90g tank than all of your little tanks combined! Obviously, you wouldn't necessarily have the variety that you have now.

Regardless, you have more dedication to this hobby than I do...there's no way I could maintain that many tanks...

Mike - Amazon biotope would be nice.....so would Tanganyikan biotope....Hmmmmm.....

Kat - yeah, I would love to live near a reef. I have dove in the Florida Keys - wow! Thanks for commenting that I am "normal"!

Melanie - thanks for the kind words. That is the 20H with the large gorgonian, Muricea laxa, and it started out about 1/3 that size over a year ago, and I love it too! That tank is the Caribbean biotope with a chalk bass and royal gramma (although the anthelia is there because the wife likes the movement).

Jason - thanks, I don't view it as too difficult, and you are right - I love diversity! I have found that one big tank = a couple of smaller tanks in terms of work and cost. I used to have a 120 FOWLR and 75 reef, and sometimes I do miss them.....

wow!! i had 3 tanks 1 salt, 1 African Cichlid, and 1 South American Cichlid. dont know how you do it!!!! btw--- the office looks great.

Thanks Randy, that gorgonian is in the running for my favorite coral here (running neck-and-neck with a torch and brain)....and FYI, everything in the 15 extra-high (except for the Rumphella gorgonian and Xenia) is from your store, so thanks again!
