I bought some more stuff today and reearranged the tank some. My large eagle eye colonies and frags started closing up, i thought no biggy just dont like moving.

Well its been about 4 hours now and they have slowly closed all the way every last polyp.

The new zoo's are open and the older ones are closed up. I'm scared that my frags and colonis are going to die.

GRRRR

Zoas can stay closed for a LONG time without any apparent harm...I'm talking like a month or longer. Don't worry, I'm sure all of your corals are just peeved and they'll be fine again soon :)

They have losed while I move them before no worries,

its just this time the continued closing one at a time after I placed them over thenext few hours, normally they begin opening a few at a time over a few hours.

as long as your Alk and PH are fine then dont worry-they are just pi^%ed off. I also hate being moved!

Zoo's were open when I got home from work today. No worries.

PH was 8.2
ALK was 4meq/l

how do I convert my alk reading to dKH?

First time i have tested alk and I got a salifert test kit that measures meq/l and not dKH
