zoos only open half way?????

like the title says my zoanthids only open half way.i have some run of the mill button palys that are wide open, my open brain is fine along with the mushrooms and frogspawn i have.so my question is why do my zoanthids only open halfway? i have stock lighting also.

What else is in the tank? (corals, fish & inverts) Parameters look fine, are your test kits accurate? What corals are closest, and how close are they?

the only fish is a algea blenny afew hemits and about 7 turbos (fighting algea)the zoos all have a 3-4 " radius of room

Hmmm, I'm at a loss for an idea. I was thinking maybe something was bothering them, like a neighbor coral stinging them.

Where are they in the tank? What is the flow like where they are at? They might be in an area with too much flow.

I'm not familiar with the various diseases that affect zoo's so if you're seeing anything of note on them, or about them, post it. Maybe someone will know what is wrong. Until them try moving to a different location in the tank.

OBTW, what exactly is stock lighting?
