Zootopia on Derry Street

I happened to be driving by and thought that I would stop in. I wan not looking for anything specific. I just wanted to see if "new management" had done anything positive. It is in worse condition than before. The livestock was in wretched conditions. Fortunately there is not much in stock. Just an FYI

I go back from time to time to see if anything changed and its horrible there! Even his display tank is disgusting!

Yeah the big dead clam shell in his display tank is awesome. They have a new tank for display purposes right inside the door. It is just rock and hair algae and a stingray. Ughhhhh... That'll be my last trip in there

There is a pet shop called Paxton Aquarium where the old HBG drive-inn used to be at RT 22 and Mountain Road (I think that is Mountain Road) anyhow they are making an attempt a saltwater and reef tanks. Some room for improvement but compared to the aforementioned store miles ahead. This store has been mentioned in past threads but for any new readers and those that like to support the local guy check it out.

I like giving local shops a chance. Hopefully the guy running the place has taken some lessons on salt water. He was rude and none responsive questions/suggestions early last year. His salt water tanks were covered in black algae and his livestock looked awful. Hopefully he has altered his saltwater business methodology.

Not seeing this at my last visit. It is a pet store that also is doing saltwater. Compared to Zootopia it is night and day difference. You are not going to find $200 fish or stony corals or anything exotic. Just beginner corals and "easier to keep" fish.
