well its been 3 days since my new acro has been in the tank . still no polyps to speak of
my other acro is fine.


could it be possiable that the acro ( bottle brush i belive they caleld it) is to close to my montipora?

I wouldnt worry too much on day three.
Is it getting good flow and or alternating flow?

does it show PE before you bought it?

it showed some PE
but i got it as soon as it was in the tank ( actualy talked to the wholesaler) and i trusted him since he isthe guy who sells stuff to liveaquaria.com

i was thinking less time this coral is in the tank the better. (i saw some thing si didnt like in the dealers tank)

one polyps half out.. im happy now ^^ im used to corals being happy as soon as i put thm in the tank

Sometimes they stress out for a week or so. Some of mine have browned out for a month or two then regain their color later.

Have you macroed the coral or looked really close? Redbugs or AEFW can cause lack of polyp extension. Just a thought.
