I'm trying to get as much info as possible from other threads. Fuzzy I used to live and work in Tampa. How does the humidity affect the tank?

Means humidity in your house (outside + 1000 gallons of 77 degree water) will be sky high, so plan measures to keep it under control (and the mold out of your house)

Take what iced said and add.....your humidity is already higher both inside your house and outside your house because you live on the water. No home made is airtight as there is always air exchange.... On the surface you may not even notice your higher humidity...but it is there is..you can buy a cheap weather meter that will give it to you..... Anyway my equipment room has both a minisplit on full time for temp and humidity control and a dehumidifier. When you walk into the room you don't feel like the moisture is high but even with my equipment when I open my drawer with my tools in it...they are starting to rust after just a year.

Over plan for this....if you lived in a low humidity area it wouldn't be a concern but you don't.
