I have never seen one so small before.

Not the greatest picture. Is there a big risk in getting 1 so small? I would leave it in quaratine to grow up more.

I've seen loads like that at the wholesalers before and yeah good idea to leave it in qt until it grows, personally I would feed it vitamin enriched seaweed and it should be a decent size within a couple of months if you fed it everyday like that.

Make sure to turn off powerheads and cover up filtration system (depending on how your qt is arranged) with a sponge or something along those lines. I got a hippo tang like that and he was so skinny for the first week he actually got stuck on the return filter sponge ( he's great now, 5" and fat!).
