Was wondering about how to get rid of the guys? I found 6-7 in the last two days. Of course they are eating my zoas. I fresh water dipped all of them and that is when they fell off. They are really tiny and brown, makes them hard to see. Is there anything that eats them or kills them?

I would just tell you they're a pain to deal with!!!!! I've dealt with them twice so far getting zoos from people. Best to dip all the colonies with dipping solutions before placing them into your tank, best to quaranteen them for a while for observation since their eggs can hatch even after dipping. It took me over a month to rid all of them, night after night picking them off my zoos with a flash light. I ended up killing over 100's of baby nudi.....

Well that's now what I wanted to hear.....seems like your good at it now. Want to do for me? laughing

Oh by the way I got my T5's in finally. I like them very nice looking...come look when you get a chance Mike

YEA very good at it!!! It was a pain in the #^$&#$&#$!!!!
I'll stand there to hold the flash light for ya!
I'll come over to check it out sometime when I get a chance, working a lot of hours right now since some folks quit....Have to help my best friend to pickup their tank tomorrow morning....I did a lot of research on the nudi when I had'em in my tank, not much you can do but to dip the colonies. I didn't dip my colonies because I had to dismantle my whole tank to get certain colonies out and I wasn't about to do that. So I pick'em up with a eye dropper every night, it's not easy to do since you have them in a 90.

Can you post some pics of them?? I have always wanted to know what they look like in a tank. I have seen pict after pict but you know how sometimes they look different when you aren't expecting them.

if you can remove the zoa colonies that have them just put them in a bucket of freshwater for 15 minutes then SHAKE HARD. the corpses will drop off with authority. i assure you wont hurt the zoa's. i did the same to 30+ colonies about a year ago. keep dipping daily until you dont see any more coming off. also look for the small white egg sacs and scrape those off with an x-acto knife. good luck, lemme know if you need any help :) <~~steve

I was surprised at how pretty they were and they have really nice movement... Too bad the litttle buggers eat my pretty zoas... :D I've read people saying that they take on the colors of the zoas they eat... I've only seen brown and green though... But be happy you've only seen them in pictures... As cool as the one I saw in my QT tank I didn't rush for my camera... I rushed for the iodine... :lolspin:
