k well im gonna pick up like 20 lbs from that guy in pembrook that is breaking down his tank... so i suppose i need to drop from 50 to 30 lbs.. i know this doesnt help our cause, but at 2.00 a lb for LIVE rock vs dry rock i should really just buy the whole 50 from him but i wont do that so that we have a chance to keep this group buy alive... it boils down to the fact that i need this rock ready for fish and corals by Aug 15th when i move so that i can just setup the new tank right away... (my new apartment is much smaller and i cant have both tanks set up...)

any luck with this? the longer it takes the less i will want to buy dry rock... i want the new tank up and running august 20th... that leaves me a little less than a month to get bacteria to grow...

is everyone still in? should i start making calls to other places? if we get live rock will people want to order more or less rock? etc...

I doubt this transaction will follow through, seems like the people have drawn away from it. I would just go and buy either dry rock or LR slowly so your pockets don't take a big hit.

The problem has been only one person out of the group has come forward and emailed me to complete the transaction. We have not yet been able to meet the min order. I apologize for not being able to pull this off. I am still ready if the rest can pull together.

The guys at exotic aquariums where NYVP is getting his tank made said as long as we have an order in the hundreds of lbs they will give us a discount on their LR and even hold it in a separate holding tank until everyone can go pick it up... idk its just an idea...
