10/19/07 C-sea Meeting Regular Raffle Items

When I can, I'm going to try and post pics of the raffle items before the meetings. The mail thing that prompted me to do this is when the items are in the bags it's tough to make out what stuff is. I'd like to put printed pics in front of each item on the table, so people can see what items look like when they're open and / or happy.

They're going to be 12 items for this week's regular raffle. Some of the pictures either didn't come out, or it's a common enough item that people will readily know what it is.

(1) Purple tang
(2) A pair of anthias
(3) Purple tipped Acro

They're pictures for the remaining 9 items.

It could be any one of the pictured anemones. Sean said it would depend on which was easiest to get off the rocks.

the pictures are a good idea. a suggestion of something that worked for the raffle in the past----labels with the name of the coral/fish with a little info of its needs. hopefully people wont win a raffled coral that needs strong lighting when they only have a 15 watt aquarium lighting.

I wanted to buy that Tomini on Sunday when I was at the Salty Critter. I figured it best to spend my money on corals though instead...maybe I will get lucky and win it on friday..lol

i did the raffle for 2 years and i put lables on each coral/fish. club members thought it was a good idea when chosing the items they wanted to WIN in the raffle. if you chose to use lables funkyman i would be glad to help you with it.

Update, Number 11 and number 1 are a no go for the raffle. We went a tad over in the spending department this month. those 2 items have been x'ed
