Actually, now that I think of it, I snipped the original frag (and plug) away from the colony before the last swap to see how it would do on its own and it is basically ready to go! I'll check it out tonight to see if it's started branching but either way it should be close. Once that frag started, it really took off and within 3+ months it took over a 5-6 inch square of rock. Not as fast as my GSP, but close.
Like I said, it's basically ready to go and if I ever make it to one of these get togethers I could get it to you"¦Not sure how serious you are about it, I was just throwing the idea out there since I think someone said you might be interested in it awhile ago
Cool! DO you have any pics of it? I am going to see if I can sneak away from my parents house on Wednesday to make it to that pizza night, not sure if you'll be able to come to that one...
Here's a picture from after the last frag swap. You can see the Blue Cesp. in the background (right side). Doesn't do it justice, I'll get a better one.
It's definitely not cream colored though...I would say it looks almost more purpe under my lights with pinkish purple polyps...Under actinics its very blue
When I got it, it did have a little more blue shimmer to it (maybe because it was smaller and less extended?). I'm guessing it was under MH at LA...I have it under 4 T5's. When its extended its more purple, when its not it looks more blue...
