What do you do weekly on your 10 gallons ???

I've got the ac70 fiter with carbon/sponge/bio rocks in it... and about 10lbs of live rock and 10lbs of sand...

2 percs...

I just did a waterchange yesterday of 3 gallons and put a new carbon pouch in, cleaned the sponge as well ....

What should I do? how much water ???

sounds like I'm doing things right then !!!

Good to know, I like to do 2-3 gallons of w/c match saltiny level, I clean the ac70 filter out, I rinse the sponge as it gets REAL DIRTY, I like to change the carbon every 2 weeks or so and I dont rinse the bio-maxx (how long is that good for anyways)

Bio-maxx? That's not some sort of bio media, is it? Why are you using that?

its cermaic rings...

do I not need them ??? I use the sponge on the bottom, then carbon bag, then the cermaic rings on top...

If i dont need em, I wont use em. I just thought they hold good bacteria's...

I would double up on the carbon if I dont need em....

While they do hold bacteria, the goal is to have enough live rock that you have your bacteria there and don't need bio-balls or ceramic rings. I would guess your live rock is ample so you could scrap the rings.

I would remove 50% and then wait then the other 50% just to avoid a crash because by removing them you will be removing SOME bacteria.

Just my opinion.
