10 Gallon Zoa Tank

Hey guys, I was thinking about starting up a 10 gallon tank to raise zoas. What sort of lighting would I need to have success with this? I was looking at 2x24watt T5's. With just zoas, a cleaner shrimp, and some snails, would I be ok with just a cheap nano skimmer? I am also going to run a small HOB carbon filter. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

looks okay IMO. if you put the lights right down to the top of the tank i think you should have no problems, you might want a little more wattage but then again i've never run T5s. you may not need the skimmer as zoas sometimes like a little dirtier water. if you have it go for it try it out. you wont be having a huge bioload in the tank so its not crucial. maybe its a good idea if you will be feeding though.

anyway, good luck try it and let us know how it goes.
