First, the stand,

Then, I got lazy and didn't take any pics of the plumbing or set up.
Started filling with water Monday of this week. Sand, Rock and Livestock from my 55 went in Tuesday, along with some more dry rock(about 35+ lbs.). Aquasquaped Wednesday and again Thursday. Finally took some pics last night.

The panel above the cabinet doors is removeable, its attached with shutter latches. Made it a whole lot easier to get the tank on the stand without losing a finger or two.
 
Thanks. I don't see why you need to "finish" your stand, its not in the middle of the house like mine. If I had a "fish room" to put it in, it wouldn't have gotten the birch panels and doors and trim moldings. Then again, yours is the first thing you see when you walk in the fish room, maybe you could get away with just finishing the side that faces the door.
