This will be a slow build. I currently have a 120 gallon SPS tank that is scratched up pretty good, so viewing can be underwelming. Since I am moving in 3 months, I plan on upgrading (by down grading) to a brand new rimless Starfire tank (black silicon and background), with a ghost overflow (not Reef Savvy's brand).
Flow: 2 MP40s
Lighting: Giesemann Infiniti with 2x 250 watt Phoenix lamps, 2 ATI Blue Plus bulbs and 2 ATI Coral Plus bulbs
Filtration: Reef Octopus XP1000SSS
Controller: DA Reef Keeper Lite
Sump: 40 breeder split into 3 compartments (middle return chamber), with a 4th (10 gallon) compartment utilized as an ATO reservoir.
Besides that, I have found most of my success by avoiding supplements (besides the major 3), carbon and GFO unless either is necessary. Eventually I will install the calcium reactor that I have (Aquamaxx Nano).
I haven't decided on a color for the stand, but it will be either black or white. Any thoughts on that?
I am tempted to start a tiny refugium in the right compartment, with various grasses (i.e. turtle grasses), but I am not sure it's with the time considering the size of the compartment and the difficulty in seeing inside of it.
I would like your thoughts if you have any.
