100G Setup help

I just won a brand new 100G 5 footer for $296. I'm going to take my time with this and do everything so this setup is bullet proof. Want to run a 40G sump with 1200 GPH bulkheads and a 1200 GPH return pump. This tank said that it comes with filtration, I am not sure if that means it is coming with a sump or coming with a HOB filter, but I will find out within the next couple of days. I'm going to make a nice aquascape with this one, since it is not a necessity for me to get it up and running that fast.

I know that tang need lots of room, is 5 feet enough room to keep 2 of them? i want to make this a mixed reef with SPS and LPS.

Right now I am looking at this for a stocking list.

Yellow/Sailfin/Powder Blue/Bristletooth (2 of these, not sure which will get along best)
Foxface
Marine Betta
Maybe a Blue Throat Trigger
Maybe I would like to try a flounder
My 1 maroon clown getting carried over
My Antenatta Lion getting carried over
My 6" Pink Spot Goby

This is my first tank this large, so I went a little high on the stocking list. With your help, I will cut it down. I have a couple of months to figure things out atleast. I want to do like 50# of LR in the tank itself and carry a lot of my current LR over to the sump of this tank. This would be about 100# in the sump.

Any other help would be great! Thanks.

I think the footprint on a 100-gallon is 60X18X20, right?

I think you could keep a yellow tang or one of the bristletooth tangs (tomini or kole), but none of the others will be happy in that tank as they grow. Sailfins get really big, and powder blues can be pretty aggressive.

Unfortunately, I think the same is true of the trigger. They're not really a "reef fish" per se in the sense that they don't stay close to the reef and swim in and out of rocks like other reef fish. They get big and swim in open water around the reef. I think a tank that is just 18 inches from front to back and only 5 feet long is going to be too confining to keep any trigger long term.

So I think you could do a yellow tang, foxface, and the remaining fish you're transferring over. I would skip the larger, more aggressive tangs and the trigger.

I think the betta would be probably be fine, too, but don't have any first-hand experience with them. Also don't know about the flounder. Ordinarily, I would suggest some flasher/fairy wrasses, but that's probably not an option with the lion.

Maybe one more medium fish, like a pyramid butterfly?

Yeah, I figured 5 feet was too short for a lot of the larger tangs and the trigger. I will look into another medium size 6-8" fish. Everything would have to be ~4+" with the Ante in there.

I haven't met anyone with a marine Beta either, but they look really cool.

And same thing with flouders.

edit: cutting the flouder. It looks like you need a good supply of live fish for them to eat.
