It took me over 2 decades to get this rite. Not a drop on the floor. No more hoses and tubing and plugging in pumps.

I use a 100g Rubbermaid stock tank for my sump, 260 g total volume with tank, and it has a twin 100g stock tank I use to mix salt in that has a float plumbed in from my ro/di that's on a timer that runs 30 minutes a day to fill my ATO pail, rest goes in stock tank. Sometimes with 3 RO membranes I just fill it in half a day.

Just used a 1 1/4" drain line and plumbed it outside.

All equipment is on 2 power strips.

100g stock tank is plumbed to my 100g sump with my old Iwaki 55md.

#1 So, simply shut off two power strips, open drain till empty.
#2 Open gate valve to feed iwaki clean salt water, open gate valve to return line to let water in sump, start Iwaki until sump is full.
#3 Shut both gate valves off, switch power strips back on, done.

10 minutes. less pouring salt in stock tank a week earlier and heating for 24 hours.
