100lbs base change per box or per order?

Does anyone know if the 100lbs base charge is by box or the entire order regardless of how many boxes?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, this is my first freight shipment.

The freight charge is a minimum 100# charge....around $60...in other words...ship one pound or 100 pounds....minimum charge applies....

Ok but is this fee per box. in other words, if you ship 3 boxes each 20# will the charge be $60 for the whole order or will it be $60 per box ($180 for the order).

No you are charged by the pound...up too 100 pounds about $60......amount of boxes makes no difference...over 100 pounds add .60 cents a pound.....
