Hi,
I have a 10g with ~15KG LS (DSB) and 5.5KG LR. Can i run it without any filtration if i keep two true percs, a small anemone and maybe some algae.
Thanks!!

yes just keep up on water changes. I have a biowheel running but just for surface movment. It only has a filter sponge. Also heard of people running nano skimmers like the aquitc 115 and tunze inside there tank. I just finshed building a 10 gallon aio with a overflow to a chamber that has filter floss and cheto under it. But I just changed 3 gallons of water before just make sure you have good flow. Two clowns for a 10 will out grow it. I started out with 2 but soon have to get rid of one they are fighting too much for my likeing. Also make sure you put the clowns in at the same time to try to stop fighting.

But to answer your orginal ? Yes just keep up with water changes and tops off

+1 to Forrest3320's water change advice.

I have a standard 10 gal with 10lbs live rock and a simple AquaClear 50 filter to remove excess food and any slime from possible coral or invert interactions. The filter contains a sponge, carbon, and nitrogen removal media. I do weekly 2 gal water changes, have a rio 50 pump for flow, and 1 Six line wrasse, pepermint shrimp, and other inverts.

I have zoas, mushrooms, polyp softies, soft leathers, lps, and sps corals in this tank with no filtration issues.

okay so if the clowns pair up it should be okay right? And what about the anemone? Can i use powerhead for flow?

you have to have very bright lights for a anemone and most anemone that a clown would host wont fit in a 10 gallon. There are lots of softys that clowns will host mine are hosting a green hair mushroom they lay on it on the time

6500k is mainly for freshwater plants. Alot of saltwater lights i have seen are 10k white

but i would start with clowns and softies and do more research. Also take things slow dont rush best advise i got

color temperature is merely how we, as human's, perceive light. It matters not to the inhabitants. Wavelength is far more important, and it's not possible to determine spectrum by color temperature alone.

It is 865 color code, i think 10K plus is used for the color, i will add blue LEDs soon. Getting two clowns today :D
