10g sump for 24g nano cube

Does anyone know if someone has done a sump on a nano cube. I have a nano cube that has the viper hqi 150 watt on it, and a aqua c remora skimmer. But it would be nice if i could make a sump out of an old 10g tank i have to grow some chaeto in. Thanks for the help/links!!

It can be done just buy your pump first and make shure the baffles are far enough away from the end of the tank to fit the pump.

I created a sump/refugium and I used a 10 gallon tank. I had all the glass pieces cut from a local glass store. I think they charged about 15 dollars for all of it. I basically created three baffles and one small box in the corner of the actual refugium part. The box in the corner is for the water coming from the overflow. You can look in my gallery for a full length screen shot. My tank is a 29 gallon.

Of course on this site you will see he manually created the whole tank but I bought a 10 gallon and copied his setup. Good luck

10g will work fine, just dont attempt to drill it, because the slightest pressure on the bulkhead will crack the tank, so you will need a submersible pump for the return.
