Looking for some thoughts on what else to add. I have a DSA 110 (roughly 60x21x21). Tanks been running just about 6 months. Have a mix of SPS and LPS.

Current Stock.
Pair of Ocellaris Clowns
4 Pajama Cardinals
Yellow Watchman and Pistol Shrimp (Goby just starred at the glass until I got him his shrimp, now he's out and moving around)
Green Mandarin (I had/have tons of pods in the tank and the refugium, just added him last week, I got the smallest one that just came in and looked healthy)
Peppermint Shrimp
Cleaner Shrimp
Sexy Shrimp (I figure something may eventually eat them)
Serpant Star
Snails and Small Hermits
Arrow Crab (May take him back after some time, so far he has been good and leaves the fish alone)

In QT
Small Magnificent Foxface and a Blueside Fairy Wrasse

I will eventually want to get some sort of bristletooth tang. I think I want to stay away from Anthias (want to stay away from the multiple feedings, some days I feed them twice, some days they get food once). Any thoughts are welcome. Something that has nice color and moves around I ideal.

Thanks!

Have you looked at any of the dwarf angels? Tangs are out as your tank isn't quite large enough for them long term. There are several of the dwarf angels that grow to 3"-4" range I think one would be a good fit for your tank. Maybe the Cherub, flame or coral beauty. They are said to be add with caution to a reef. The Cherub is probably the most safe of those I mentioned but many have had the other two and little if any issues. Anthias would be another possible choice.

This is all subject to what one likes of course and what makes our tanks unique. Only you can say what you really like or want. It's always a good idea to ask for compatibility of your current tank mates before purchase.

Maybe a hawkfish?

I would think some tangs would be fine in a 110 - yellow, purple, kole. For sure look into a wrasse or two, and +1 on the dwarf angel - flames, potters, lemonpeels are all great fish.

Potters and lemonpeels will destroy a reef tank. They LOVE LPS and SPS corals.

For what it's worth, this site recommends a 120 for a Purple Tang.

A bristletooth tang would be fine in that size tank, and IMO even one of the smaller Acanthurus, such as a convict or mimic.

I personally would only keep one Tang in that size tank, but i wouldn't hesitate to keep one. YMMV.

For the sake of your mandarin, you should stay away from any pod hunters. Not sure if the wrasse in your qt is one or not.

a Kole tang would be just fine, or even a Kole tang and a Yellow. It's on the small end of acceptable for them, but not unheard of.
