12 gallon Nanocube

I just picked up a good deal on a 12 gallon Nanocube classic. I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do with it. I have a 14 gallon Biocube I am trying to start a reef tank with.
I don't think the Nano has enough lighting for a real reefer, though I'm sure some of you have done it.
What could I get by with in the Nano? The guy at the fish store suggested a clown and anemone maybe a little live rock? I kind of like that idea.
Anyone have any suggestions? I have just started cycling it so not really in a hurry.
I have a mean Domino Damsel that is in the reef tank. Should maybe I just move her and get a goby for the reef tank? I kind of love-hate the Damsel, but nothing can kill her. She has been through Ick that killed my Wrasse and Goby, light out for 3 months cause I couldn't get a replacement ballast and probably other stuff I don't even know about. Will she do ok in a reef? or should I move her into the Nano? I know Damsels are frowned on most of the time but I'm very attached.
I got the biocube finally cause I couldn't get a ballast for my old nano, then today I bought a Nano off Craigslist from a guy for $50 and it was full of stuff to. Now I'm nano poor.

Was it used? If so how old are the lights?

Damsels are jerks and the Domino is the worst of the lot. If you want to add any future fish to the 14 I would get the damsels out of there and into the 12.

Yes it was used and I have no idea about how old the lights are. They seem to be working fine and he took real good care of it.
I think you are right, I'll move her and get another Goby for the reef tank. I won't mess with the tank to much this time. The place where I got the original Nanocube told me to do a 25% water change and vacuum the bottom once a week. The Goby hated it and get to stressed, then he got ick or something like it.

I love the Dominoes, they just so much personality. I have 2 clowns and everyone said don't do a damsel with them. Well I was at the LFS and they had tiny Dominoes and I couldn't help myself. Then on the way home I was kicking myself thinking this $5 fish is probably going to kill my $30 fish. Well I guess the clowns killed the damsel, they kept him in hiding for 2 days and then he just dissappeared. Any way my kids want me to set up a tank just for a Domino damsel.

Wow something kinda good about Damsels! Mine does have a lot of personality. I added more live rock to their tank last night and it was so funny watching them investigate it. They went in every nook and cranny 20 times I bet, chasing each other.
The Domino was very docile in the beginning then I had a bout with ick and lost my Pearl Rock Jaw Goby, and 6 line Wrasse, two $30-40 fish and the $5 one survived. I didn't catch it in time on the Goby cause he was always hiding and white to begin with. It went through the Wrasse before I got home with any cure. Everyone got along in that set up real well.
I never did use the cure cause she didn't seem to have it. Watched her real close for a month and she never got it. My girlfriend got 3 Striped Damsels at the LFS and the Domino killed 2 in the 1st 2 days. The last one still survives. They spend most of the day and night chasing each other around.
She is tough as tough can be.

Here is a picture of my 14 gallon Biocube. I had another 12 gallon Nanocube and the light went out. Couldn't find one locally, back ordered from manufacturer, still waiting. I have a back up plan now. Three months later I bought this Biocube and stuck everything let in it.
