I recently purchased a used 12 gallon Nanocube, I notice there is always a film on top of the water. The overflow skimmer does not really do anything to get rid of it. Any suggestions how to get rid of the film?
Use the surface skimmer, put some filter floss in chamber 1(change weekly) and point the powerjet at the surface more to break the surface tension, cleared my scumm right up!
you can cover the lower inlet up so the water flows over the top and takes the film off. I had the same prob on my aquapod so I got a peice of black ruber and silicon and did not dran the water and then stuck it over the lower inlet it works great. good luck
