120 fail

Naturally on the one weekend/early week I've barely been home, the circuit breaker trips in the basement and my 120 goes cold. I hadn't been downstairs in a couple of days. All fish are dead and my poor little candy cane pistol shrimp. I feel terrible. The tank was mostly softies and some of the leathers may recover. Of course this happens as I have working on really prettying it up to sell as I am moving back to IL and need to downgrade (anyone want to partial-trade a 45-60 gallon cube for a 120?) I'm now working on lots of WC, adding a ton of carbon, and probably transferring what I can salvage into the (currently empty) 29 gallon tank. What a waste. :(

That sucks. That is exactly what happened to me, but I lost a bunch of fish, several anemones, SPS AND LPS. It was sickening. I ended up just selling the tank and put the line survivor in a 20 gallon tank.

Thanks. I still feel pretty sick. I've been doing massive water changes but I'm not sure this isn't a lost cause. I haven't had time this week to do much else but it'll probably be taken down this weekend.

I can actually see through the tank today, that's a HUGE change. It had been a murky awful mess. Some polyps may have pulled through (of course, can't get rid of those if ya tried!) and maybe a leather or two. Too soon to tell. Ugh.
