120 Gallon Aquascaping Ideas

I'm looking to upgrade my 55 gallon to a standard 120 (48x24x24) and want to plan out how I'd scape it.
I have a general idea of what I want and sketched a quick render in photoshop

WARNING I'M NO ARTIST!

Here's with just the rocks (and a large Gorgonian I'd like to put on the left side)

And here's with a few corals.

What do you guys think? Is my scale way off? Would it be possible to even fit all this in a standard 120?

Who needs a tank. Just print that out and put it on the wall:rollface:

I have a 120 and it looks like it would work, depending on how big the pieces are on the RHS.

i personally wouldnt stack rocks more than 2/3 the way up...you want to leave room for coral growth....

side note.if you look at many of the super nice tanks they dont stack much higher than halfway up...allows your corals to have just awesome growth and still have that area for your fish to roam about.just depends on what ya wanna see really.have fun scaping! i love that part of this hobby.

If you want that big stack of rocks like that I'd move it to the middle so you have open space on each side to make little islands, instead of big stack on right side low on left side it won't flow right. Also like mentioned don't stack too high I'm a fan of minimal and negative space allowing for coral growth and room for fish to swim

I like the design concept, but agree with rhino. Keep it a little lower to allow for growth. Also scaping a 120 is difficult do to the "width" dimension. Aspects of this scape may be hard to pull off due to this.
