120 gallon equipment

I have upgraded tanks. I am going from 55 gallon to 120 gallon tank. the tank has two overflows and two returns. I am just reaching out to fellow reefers for advice and opinions on what kind of sump, protien skimmer, powerheads, return pump, and any equipment for the tank. Thanks for the advice. I am greatly excited to get the tank put together and to get to start watching the tank take form.

also setting up a 120 in the next few months.

get a 40B at petco when they do their $1 per gallon sale. I picked up my sump last week. they run the sale about once a month it seems like.

ill be running two vortechs and eventually vegas or radions plus t5 retros. Im going with a ReefOcto skimmer.

For just a 120g, you probably don't need two return pumps. Its just more expense and more maintenance. I would plug one and just run something in the 900 -1200 gph range for the single return. You can rely on powerheads for circulation. You don't need to rely on the return pump for flow, just enough to get some water down to the sump and back for filtration. Plus, two return pumps equals more heat in the water.
