He's pushing 10" at the shell end to end now and FAT! He has to be 7" across when he's fully open. In a month or two he'll be five years in my various tanks along with my Coral Beauty and my female o. clown, and I am happy to say, quite a few corals as well.

Dudester

I hope so I am getting pretty eager to see some real progress. One problem is it has been just too cold in my shop to even try to piant the stand. But I have been doing some framing for the frag so hopefully that'll go up very soon and I can get moving on the rest.

The 120 is still up & running for now.

am having troubles with some corals while others thrive. Seems I can do no wrong with purple and blue acros.

... my pinks and greens seem to be another story, very odd as other than alk being a bit high (12-14 dkh on a Salifert kit) my params are pretty solid. My PO4 swings from ND to ,04 on my Hanna meter.

This valida has come back from a vicious MH burning after weekend long return pump failure.

My Miami orchid, now moved away from my suddenly stingy RBTA is thriving.

Thanks Frankie

Here's some examples of troubled corals ....

The pink birds nests are coming back

But this poker star is really bleached and just won't turn back around.

I've lost a green milie a purple & pink milie, all my pink poccis and a pink stylo?

Thanks Foo, and Hop

Other than the troubled greens and pinks and some bothersome red turf algea I am pretty happy with everything. My frag racks are begining to overflow!

Bax if you need help unloading your frag racks just let me know. I will pay shiping.... ...I can only imagine how much a pain it is to deal with overflowing with corals. hahhahahhaha......I cant wait to see them in your new tank.....

Eric

I stopped cutting to let some of the pieces grow out so that I'll have a couple of good sized colonies for when I do fill the big tank. (If I ever get to it!) But, I've also been picking up new frags , and they are starting overgrow the racks.

Not to worry though with all this moving, there'll be plenty of incidental fragging :D

I am hoping to use stags, a couple of caps and some millies along with the valida nd nana colinies to cover some ground. I want to give these lots of room to grow. I save some choice spots for the high light slow growers like my torts.

Here's an unknown stag looking piece I picked upat OG II ( a pretty good LFS) about 2 months ago, starting to sprout

OGunknown0309.jpg

Here's an unknown piece I got at Stan's (smcooler) about 5 weeks ago also starting to strout growth buds, it's also kinda stag-like, it's insanely green in person!

I just got this Gomezi from OG II about two weeks ago, talk about yout high light slow growers, awesome blue color though. That's a hawkins next to it from the club swap in October doing well too

GomeziEnch0309.jpg

A bottle brush (looks better in person) and a teal stag I just got from Stan too. These guys should suck up some calcium and put on some serious growth ounce they decide to get going, the bottle brush seems to be almost there.

These stag frags, along with the Miami Orchid and sprawling blue tip stag I already have growing well should cover some space.

Pacific Reefs

Thanks for coming by! I think it has looked better, but it is looking better to me every day.

How's you 375 comming? Mine is moving slowly forward. It's the same dims as yours 96x30x30.

Things are moving slowly with the 375 swap. I am determined to complete all stands, both display and sump/frag/fuge stands before doing anything else of any real measure. My lease renewal is, again, up in the air as well, so I am looking for a new space, just in case. Given the economy, a smaller less costly space may be a good idea anyway. so I am taking my time and building and modifying the stand the way I want it.

So I had picked up a tenetti tang and it been through QT so I added it to the display. What an awesome fish!

Tenetijustadded.jpg

He's much smaller than the other fish including the largest, a fox face, a FAT yellow tang, a boisterous heniocus butterfly, and a absolutely nutty coral beauty. These guys can be known to give new comers the business for a day or two, but not the tenetti! Other fish include, a pair of o. clowns, a trio of BG chromis, a azure damsel and an orchid dottyback.

The tenetti really holds his own. He actually will rip nori right out of the yellow's mouth!

And an FTS ...

Bax is going big?

Hey Laurence!

Yeah, I have a 375 , 96 x 30 x 30, planning for a 600 g system volume overall, I am refurbishing the stand, canopy, and lighting, building stands for the frag, fuge and such. But, I am also in a position where I may have to move my offices, once again! So I am waiting for that situation to stabilize .... again! :mad2:

Where ever I go, space for the beast will be a primary consideration
