Just bought a new iMac with the dual core Intel chip - having a hard time posting up large size images - can't find a image resizer that works for me yet on this mac - here is a slight improvement - I hate small pics!

The system is tuned to drain into the sump, but not overflow the sump in case of power outage

Once power returns, the system starts back up automatically.

No generators - my school is 'in-town' in Ridgefield, so power outages are extremely rare - in 8 years working at the school, the school lost power 1 or maybe 2 times, so not a big concern

I have thought about buying a UPS or even a generator, but just not worth it

PITSTOP'S LIGHTING: 2x250 MH (double ended, 10K AB's, PFO mini pendents, PFO dual magnetic ballast); 2x110 VHO URI Super Actinics (Icecap ballast).

Nothing too fancy here with the lighting...I've tried different color temp MH's...but in the end, I came back to the good-old tried and true standby - 10K MH's plus actinic supplementation, for me = great color and growth (for my system).

Sometimes I dream about dual 400 watt MH's, but then I would need a chiller.....aw shucks, too much $$$

>>>> Did you guys see the new pendents by Sunlight supply? Sunlight Supply mini pendent

If (when) I set up a system again, I would go for two or three of these babies - great shaped pendent AND takes my preferred DE MH's
