I got a bunch of reef equipment for a deal that couldn't be passed up. This aquarium came with it. I am wondering what some of you guys with experience would tell me to do before I fill this thing up.
Here is th stand:
Here is the tank 120G 24x25x48 AGA 1/2" thick two overflows.
Here is the worst of the silicone peel. Should I cut and re seal the whole tank for longevities sake?
Here is the chip behind the left rear overflow. It is 4mm deep into the 12.5mm total thickness of the glass. Is this okay. It is hidden so I just want to see peoples thought about it.
This is the chip in the front of the glass. It is really small and only 3mm deep. I just wish it wasn't in the front left corner
GRRR!!
I also got a Schuran Jetstream 1, pinpoint ph controller, big 9" diameter skimmer w/dolphin needle wheel pump, TruVu 300 sump, aquac EV180, aquamedic spacelight 2x250 and 1x150 hqi, TDS meter, another TruVu cube with overflow (no stand), a JBJ DBE-200 chiller, various VHO lights, pc lights, and 3 or 4 ballasts...
Please I am not familiar with larger glass aquariums and I want this one to last a while. I would like to hear your opinions before I set this thing up.
Thanks and see you all at the meeting.
