OK here it is. I really don't post much on RC due the stinking tech guys at work blocking out this board...lol.

Here is what I have going on.

Tenecor 120x48x24 tank being delivered by 9/18.

Lighting is my project against popular opinion. I am going with 2 14" Sola Tubes, 3 400 watt MH, 2 250 watt MH, and 4 110 watt VHO bulbs. The MH will be 12,000k reeflux bulbs and the VHO's will run white not actinic.

Flow. I already have 2 Tunze wave boxes with controller. I figure this to be enough with my returns which I will run a Sequence 5800.

Skimmer. MRC MR-4R recalculating protein skimmer.

Calcium reactor. Schuran Jetstream 2.

I am going to incorporate my current Aqua 25 watt UV in the system along with a new 57 watt Aqua UV.

Fuge. I am going to use my current tank as a fuge. I have 75 gallon Oceanic that will be plumbed into the system after I take it down and transfer my live stock.

Stand is already built from wood. I am having the house extended for this project so the builder popped it together for me.

Controller. I am going with the reef keeper 2 since a lot of the electricity will be timed from the breaker box directly. I am also running a new backup generator on the house and the whole system.

Sump size is still in question, but it will be a DIY project

Water changes will be plumbed into the system to be the turn of a few valves but I didn’t figure it out yet.

So here it is, everything is either here already or on it’s way so let me know what you think.

If its not too late, try to get to 30" tall.
It will allow you to use the 48" depth to better effect (so you can slope from back to front where required). It will also prevent the tank from looking "stretched".
On a 6' tank it would be fine, but at 10' the overall picture will look very stretched and shallow.

Too late. It's on it's way for Thursday delivery.

I went with 24" so I can reach all parts of the tank. It will be a mixed reef but I also want plenty of swimming room so I will not overload it with LR and coral. I am more looking foward to see it the corals try to grow towards the natural sunlight instaed of the MH lights.
