125 agressive tank help

I have a 125 tank and have a snowflake in there right now! and thinking of putting a puffer and a lion fish in there as well! what all can i put in this tank! going agressive!

You shouldn't keep Puffers with Lions, so you should pick one.

I've had at least three species of puffers go after a lions fins. Puffers are nippy, lions are slow, and I'm a slow learner.

What do you like? There are hundreds of possible fish, you picked two that don't do well together; so we're suppose to tell you what to get? Do some research. Two rules with lions: don't keep them with fish & inverts they can eat and don't keep them with nippy fish---especially triggers & puffers.

idk just looking to make a cool agressive tank but not for sure what is cool! im still new to the hobby so i dont know of all the fish! and what ones are cool! thats y im looking for ideas! then i can look up the fish from there and see what ones i want!

Look through websites like liveaquaria.com and look at the fish they have for sale, look on here at what fish are kept in tanks. Find what group of fish interests you and then we can help you build around that.

Yeah, although they are a business; IMO, their info is usually very good. Here's a chart, from the same site, that will help you learn what fish you can keep together. IMHO, forget the puffer, and add a Pterois russelii lion (often sold as "red volitans", which is wrong). Think about a foxface or rabbitfish, maybe one of the medium/large scorpionfish such as Scorpaena brasiliensis, maybe even a Rhinopias frondosa (weedy scorpionfish) or an Inimicus stingfish (pop-eyed sea goblin).

I guarantee it would be a cool tank of uncommon fish.
