125 g stocking advice

in my reef tank i have 4 blue chromis, a sixline wrasse, and a sailfin tang. my setup is only about 2 months old and i do not plan on adding another fish for atleast a month, but ive been thinking about my next addition and i have absolutely no idea other than i do want to get another tang at some point, possibly an atlantic blue, but i am open to anything and everything, any ideas? suggestions? possibly pictures of the fish? its 125 gal reef, dimensions are 48"x33"x18.5"
 
I like the dimensions of that tank...Anyway, I would go with a pair of Fairy Wrasse's. Also, keep in mind that Sailfin may outgrow your tank eventually.
 
Have you thought of an angel? You could do one of the dwarf species or the "medium" sized ones (bellus, lamarack, swallowtail, etc.). They are also pretty easy to pair so you could go with two.

ive been playing with the idea of a cherub since after all the research i did on angels it was the one that most people would say is reef safe.

yea i like the yellow flanked and the filamented fairy wrasses. will they school if i get a few?

theyre fast little f'ers... ive been trying to get one for a little while now, the only camera i have is on my verizon droid and its really slow so it cant really take a pic of something thats moving.

As long as you only get one male you should be good.
 
Your sixline will kill or harass fairy or flasher wrasses, but if you can remove the sixline those would definitely be a good choice.

Angels would also be nice as long as you stay on the smaller side. (No Pomacanthus or Holacanthus)

The atlantic blue tang will get too big for your size tang and they can be aggressive sometimes, but so can any tang. Also your sailfin gets too large for your tank, but have you thought about a Zebrasoma tang, Ctenochaetus tang, or a smaller Acanthurus tang like a convict?

Also a marine betta would be nice or a peaceful pseudochromis like a fridmani. They would be able to handle your sixline, should you decide to keep him.

Hawkfish, anthias, and jawfish (depending on your substrate) would all be nice too.

Oh, I didn't see he had a sixline. I like the idea of a marine betta, you don't see them everyday.

ive thought about a marine betta but they dont really interest me that much, i was considering a pearly jawfish or 2
 
what about a pair of japanese swallow angels (Genicanthus melanospilus)? also, would my sixline wrasse mess with a shrimp and goby pair?
 
Get a bunch of tangs. You have a large tank, just watch there behavior. I had 3 tangs and a bunch of other fish in my 75g. All of them had plenty of room to swim and they all got along, even after a year of growth.

How about any type of clownfish pair? I like the suggestion of a bellus angel pair as well...I have a female and she is awesome.

I wouldn't put more than 2 tangs in a 125...

i eventually plan on getting a pair, probably gold striped maroon. i would like to be able to keep a BTA or 2 first.

well i have a sailfin, i would think that another tang or 2 of different body shapes mite be alright?
