Stocking Recommendations for established 92 gal

I have a well-established 350L/92gal marine aquarium. I used to have around 11 fish but over time I have lost them for a number of reasons (blackouts, jumping, bullying). Recently I lost my Sailfin tang to bullying by an Australian Stripey which has since been removed.

Currently I have 4 fish - A blue-green chromis, a foxface, a photon clownfish (percula-ocellaris hybrid), and an ocellaris clown. I used to have more chromises, but they died over 2 years ago, with the typical chromis story of picking each other off until one survives. I used to have a lot of LPS (mostly euphyllia) but lost much of it from a disease which ravaged the tank a year ago. The rest I re-homed due to not having enough time to care for them. Now I only have a mushroom leather. I plan on getting LPS again now that I have more time but not SPS.

I have previously kept (in this or other tanks) talbolt's damselfish, banggai cardinals, lawnmower blennies, blue clown goby, gold-headed sleeper goby, royal gramma, sixline wrasses, black scissortail dartfish, yellow assessor, fire gobies, sailfin tang, foxface rabbitfish, ocellaris and percula clowns, blue-green chromis, vanderbilt's chromis, australian stripey, and tiger blenny.

Though I have been keeping marine for a long time (5+ years), I would not consider myself highly experienced (maybe moderate?) and thus would not opt for any very difficult-to-keep fish but I am looking for some ideas on what I should restock my tank with. I am interested in flame angelfish but they are very expensive right now in Australia where I am from. I'm not opposed to keeping the same types of fish I have previously, and a good mix of those and new ideas would be great!

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I’m always of the opinion, find what fish you like and research how easy they are to care for. I’m not big into fish, I’m more of a coral/invert person but, I really like basslets, dottybacks, etc.

What is the dimensions of your tank? Does it have effective cover? Does it have a fine sand bed?
It is hard to recommended when I am don't know what is available for you. Perhaps you can give us what you like, and we can give recommendation as to if it fit well with your tank and existing stock.
Regarding dwarf angels, they are most similar in requirement with temperament and tendency to nip differences. If you like these fishes, a pair or harem of three of almost any dwarf angels will do. I always had harem of Flame Angels in my reef, but Flame back, Cherub or African Flameback will be very similar, but even smaller in size.
Wrasses would be great, there are many to choose from in Australia, I am sure. A harem of Leopard Wrasse can be out of this world in your tank.

Lots of beautiful fishes and invert that would do well in a 92 gal tank.

The secret to chromis is get different kinds. They only seem to kill the same kind. I have 5 of 3 different kinds that haver lived for years now.

With what you have now you could add a few tangs of the same size. The same with butterflies. 2 dwarf angels.

Lots of options.

It's 120cm long by 53 cm tall by 50cm wide (It's a red sea reefer 350L). Fine sand bed (aragonite). The rockwork has plenty of hiding spots. I have a mesh lid so jumping isn't an issue. The sand bed is only 1-2 few cm thick in some areas to quite thick 7+cm in others (the variance is just because of the tank's flow). I have been considering getting a Tomini tang and a blue star leopard wrasse (or a pair of those). I think flasher wrasses are cool but I would be concerned about compatibility with the leopards.

Depending on which LFS I go to there tend to be fish like flame hawks, longnose hawks, bicolour blennies, lawnmower blennies, chromis (barrier reef, vanderbilt, blue-green) occy clowns, foxfaces, various tangs like scopas, bristletooths, sailfin, blue/hippo tangs, sixline wrasses, royal grammas, firefish, assessors (both blue and yellow). There are a couple of shops a little further away that tend to stock a larger variety of less common fish like puffers, more tangs, hogfish, various butterflies, filefish, many wrasse, goatfish, angelfish (though mostly non-dwarfs that would get too big), smaller ones include singapore angels, coral beauties.

There is an LFS willing to take orders though so it isn't a giant hurdle to get something in even if it is something they don't usually purchase.

Sorry for the late reply there's been a cyclone happening :)

Harem of Leopards and Flasher Wrasses are fine. A lot of the fairy wrasse are also fine, all together. I would not get Foxface, Scopa, Sailfin, Hippo tangs. All get too big for your tank (IMO). No Sixline wrasse or any of the wrasses in that Genus since they are very aggressive

That's good to hear about the wrasses; it gives me a lot more options.

I do already have a foxface, it's been in the tank for nearly 4 years maybe more (I bought the tank with him in it from another keeper 4 years ago who had to move across the country). So far, it hasn't gotten close to outgrowing the tank, but I am monitoring its size so I can re-home it when necessary. But I definitely don't plan on getting another. I agree about the larger tangs - they just get too big (I had always intended to re-home the sailfin I originally had but he was killed unfortunately). I have heard about the sixline problem. Such a shame considering how pretty they are.

Thanks for your advice!
