Gregg I was also thinking of your t5 lights. What do you see to be the advantage of those lights?
What K is your MH?
And the PC compacts, are they just actinics?

Man, I've been too busy lately.....

what are you going to treat it with??
You actually treat it with Interceptor a dog heart worm pill. I'm going to do a step by step when I do it, probably Monday.

The T5s add a lot of blue for our eyes, for the wattage they add a lot more actinics to bring out the color in coral. My MH is 10k and my PCs are just actinics.

Ok that makes sense.
Oh I am probably going to Ocean's Below tomorrow. Rob said they got some new stuff in.
Have you seen it?

He still has a really nice Gem acro there that has been there, if I had room I would take it. I picked up a x-mas wrasse and yellow corris wrasse there today. He also has some of those T5s in stock there if you're interested. The corals were still acclimating so I didn't see what he got.

I will be headin up there around 1 or so.
I hope he has some stuff so I don't come back empty handed.
As for those lights, I don't think it will add much to my tank. I have 15k and atinics. Maybe if I switch to the 10k I will take a look at it.

I'll be at Aquarium world in Boca about then picking up a wrasse that he special ordered for me. I'm also going to Tony's house to trade some frags so I'll have some pics tomorrow!

Awesome tank man! really inspiring, im setting up a 75 soon and its nice to see someone using LS and a wetdry

Thanks!

Sorry guys I've been crazy busy lately, I'll get some pics up soon.

I have a question for everyone. I'm going to start putting a calendar of some really nice pics together, any suggestions?? What types of corals do you guys want to hang on your wall?

Really, really nice. I helped my son go bring home a 125g the other day. It's going to be freshwater. But my mind was racing just thinking what I could do with all that territory. Great job. Please post pics often.

Ric's and Zoo's definately should be included... Some very nice colors....

Magnificent tank Greg! I made it through page 14 and then had to jump to the "end"? I doubt if this is the end!

You couldn't go wrong starting with everything in your tank.

And for anyone wondering about the "secret" to your success, I think it's compatability and placement, lots of research, and lots of care. Am I close?

Keep up the great work. > barryhc :)

Good luck with the tank, I never went through the freshwater stage. I'll keep posting pics, especially the ones I said I was gonna post last week and haven't had time to:D

Very nice with all the live rock.
To me that's one of the most important parts and took a very long time to put together.

I hope that there isn't an end anytime soon, the 21st of this month will ne it's one year birthday, I wish I could rename the thread. I'm working on the calendar and other stuff now and the people that have seen the stuff really like it, it will have a lot of stuff from my tank, luckily I have a lot of variety to make it interesting.
That sounds like a pretty good explanation of my "secret"

Just ask one of the moderators if they will rename the thread for you. This forum has about 8 moderators, so pick one and send him/her a PM with the link to this thread along with your request.

I'll repeat what Marc has already stated.... From my experience, these mods are "tops" and will do whatever it takes to help folks out... Shoot, just look what they've done for me in my "Reef Video" thread....

Oh and speaking of that ( ) when can I expect another video from you Greg..??? You've gotten so much stuff and the only video I have was the one that started all of this for me... I know everyone would love a new one from ya.... What say ya.....????

Marc.. Back me up here.....( hehe )

(How's that for back-up, Bob?) ;)

You're way too good at this Melev!

Heh Greg, how about "The 8 Mo. tank, that lasted even longer".

( and enjoyed much better! )

Wail away Greg, "you're my man"! > barryhc :)
