125 stocking suggestions

Hey guys me again I and I just got a 125 I am thinking on putting the followning things in
Niger trigger or clown trigger
A lion fish volition or russels
Fox face
Damsels
Yellow maroon clown
2 tangs
I have heard triggers pick on lions but I have seen it done many time befor if it's not goog I will jus5 get a another trigger so I will have two triggers

I think you will be okay depending on which tangs you want. I think it will just be best to leave the lion off the list especially since you will have fast moving fish that might stress out the lion. I also think the clown and damsel might become food. I will also go with the niger or a blue jaw instead of the clown trigger. I have read many times of clown triggers going crazy and killing all its tank mates.

I would not get the lion. I also would not get a clown trigg unless you want to dedicate your tank to him which I would do.

especially in a small tank, trigger + lion is usually bad, especially considering the clown t. is one of the larger & meaner of the triggers, even the niger's get big. I would do a more peaceful trigger... bluejaw, pinktail, Hawaiian/blackdurgeon, sargassum & a few others if you are stuck on a lion. But remember, lions grow fast & also get BIG! They take up a square foot of aquarium space in a really short time, not the best addition to most people's tanks.

Cool guy I knew the lion would be a stretch but if I got him I would get a Niger but if I can I want to get a kiri trigger and a Niger is this okay and I understand about the damsel I have heard triggers grow really slow and yes it's a standard 6x18x22

I do not know if a kiri trigger and niger would be a good match since nigers are not predictable. I do have a niger and a male blue jaw trigger in my tank and they get along very well. I was scared to add the blue throat to the tank but i had a back up plan if it did not work out. I also think you will be okay with that size tank for a couple of years before the fish outgrow your tank. Assuming that you have good filtration i think you should be fine with the stock list minus the lion.
