125g Stocking list

I was hoping some of you could help critique my current stocking list for our new 125g reef tank. I know there are too many fish; I will thin that out later. Now I am just looking for compatibility issues.

Acanthurus tang of some kind
Flame angel
Coral Beauty
3 Chromis
Royal Gramma
Firefish
2 O. Clowns
Lawnmower Blenny
sixline wrasse
Green Mandarin

Thanks in advance for your help,
James

Theres a chance your flame and cb may nip at clams/corals/each other, but for the most part that seems like a good list...IMO lemonpeels, eiblis, and other dwarf angels are far worse about coral pickin' than the ones you have. I don't think you necessarily have too many fish....check out the current TOTM, that dude has almost 60 fish in a 260!! Just as long as you have a good skimmer and don't go too crazy feeding I think you're fine where you are

I am considering an achilles tang. I have heard that they are difficult. Is a 6ft 125g too small for an achilles.

Thanks,
James

I would not consider A. achilles for this size tank. Maybe try A. pyroferus or similar tang if you want one of the Acanthurus sp. Even this species gets to be about 11" in length.

Thanks for the advice so far. One more thought on the tang. Which one of the following, if any, would be best for our tank?

Achilles
White Cheek
Powder brown

I have also decided to slim out the previous list. I no longer plan on having any clowns, lawnmower blenny, or mandarin. However, I might add a neon blue goby and a clown goby.

Thanks for any comments,
James
