New to the nano cube, so bear with me. I bought mine 2nd hand. It's a DX model. The previous owner modified the pump. I have no idea what it is. But I took it out last night and cleaned it up. I surely helped the water flow. My question is this.
Is a LOT of flow good? Or is there a point at which you could have problems.
It also has some attachment to the outflow that isn't stock. As water pushes thru it, it spins, diverting the flow around the tank.
What is this and where would I buy one?
BTW I had it 3 weeks, and its doing great. I got live rock and 1.5 inch of white sand when I bought it.
Have a cleaning crew, a yellow tail damsel, and a cleaner shrimp for now.
