Is it possible, to have any kind of Anemone in this tank? its got 48 watts of PC lighting, MJ900 upgrade pump, and a koralia nano PH. It has been setup for about 4-5 months, with a CUC, and i am putting a pair of clowns in it, which will be the only fish.

Many would advise against it, 48w is not enough light to sustain and successfully maintain a Bubble tip anemone. It will slowly die. I would advise that if you really want to to Invest in a 70w Metal halide.

Becareful however YOU WILL GET FLAMED
people here are sensitive about the care of anemones, and many on here feel that it is inappropriate and irresponsible to put anemone's in tanks under 14 gallons. Primairly because of the demanding water quality needed to maintain these inverts, as well as size restraints put on by the tank itself.

I do believe however that with diligence and frequent water changes, it is more than doable, and as a matter of fact easy to maintain stable water conditions in such a small tank.

The key is weekly waterchanges, light feedings, established tank system, clean up crew, and maintaining AT ALL TIMES the proper tank parameters.

Best of luck and try to do what is best for the anemone, Its our responsibility of hobbiest to not subject the animal to conditions that are less than ideal.

Good luck and happy reefing, good job on asking questions

And i would never buy something i couldn't take care of, reason i asked on here, but i am getting a 30cube with 150w metal halide, sump and everything in 1-2 months, my tank has never had any problems with water quality, as i have a friend who runs his own tank cleaning/servicing business. Would 1-2 months be ok for a 1-2" clone of a RBTA.

Flameproof suit is on:D

IMO, a 2" BTA will be fine for a few months in that system. I don't think however that a 2" anemone would be a suitable host for anything but the smallest juvenille clowns!!

I actually think you will be just fine, just wait on that 30gallon set up
Just keep an eye on those parameters, just to make sure, and go for it,
30 Gallons is more than enough space for a BTA, and the 150 halide will cover your lighting requirements

do keep in mind that if you want a clown make sure the anemone is 3X the size of the clown to reduce stress on the anemone.

I would say you should be ok
