Stunning. Did all these corals start from frags or were they transferred from another tank 13 months ago?

What kind of lighting do you have? Do you dose, use a calc reactor or top off with kalk?

Do tell us more. We want the same results.

yes specs are above. Everything is grown from 1 - 3 inch frags, except for blue california stags and yellow scroll in the back(10 + inches across) which were about 5 - 6 inches of colonies transferred from my previous system.

That anemone is huge! Great looking tank. It will look even more amazing next year!

Excellent Job! what type of anemone is that? Ritt? can we see some equipment shots etc..

That is ritteri about 30 inches across when fully expanded, I also have green and blue hadonni carpet as well as magnifica in there.

WOW!!!
1st for JUST a point and shoot camera those pics look great!
2nd the camera's blue isn't bad at all, you have a cam that takes great color.
3rd your tank looks FANTASTIC!!!

here are some equipment shots and shots from 08 when tank was first set up.

Calcium reactor in this photo is no longer used, replaced by 2 part dosing.

nice tank crazy growth how do you like your reeflux 20k?

I like 400 watt Reeflux 20Ks, previously I used reeflux 12K and I liked those too. 20Ks are a touch bluer on coralvue e-ballast, but nothing like a true 20K bulb, they are more like 14K.

Tank looks more pleasing to the eye and growth is good, surprisingly 20K reeflux has a bit more par than 12K reeflux.

Next time I would like to give Radiums a shot... see how I like them on e-ballast.

Thank you everyone, thanks for the compliments.

Did you pre-build your aquascape? Use puddy?

No I did not use any glue or puddy, initially I was planning to, but then I was able to balance the rocks on top of each other until everything is very stable. I then stuck sps pieces in between joining rocks to glue the rocks togehter. As corals grew structure became stronger.

Sweet looking tank. I also have a ritteri, though only 12" across now. If mine gets as big as yours ... I'm going to need a bigger tank ! LOL

it took mine 3.5 years to grow from 12 inches to 30 inches across and I stopped direct feeding it about 1.5 years ago.
