I am using 2 tunze 6205 and 3 maxijet with 2000gph mods, and a Korolia 4 for flow, return pump pumps about 1200 gallons per hour as well.

2 maxijets are placed in the lower back side of the tank to sweep back and forth behind the rock work, only one pump runs at any given time, and every 2 hours they alternate.

I am really impressed with Maxijets with mods... they have outlasted tunzes, I had to return both tunzes for repair and replacement(customer service has been great, no questions asked and no charge, they sent me a brand new pump and a motor), and maxijets are still running strong even after starting and stopping ever 2 hours for 14 months....

what kind of reflectors are you using?

everybody asks specs but i always see people leave out reflectors, IMO which are just as crucial as bulbs and ballasts as far as lighting goes!!!!
 
lumenbright reflectors about 17 inches off the water surface. Par levels between 650max at the top of the reef and 200 - 150 at the sand bed.

Will do! Are you useualy on the Des Moins area tank tour? I think I will probably make the trip sometime for the tour. Otherwise I'll just pm you next time I will be in your area. Very awesome tank man probably the best i've seen in the local club.keep up the good work!

I generally feed at least once a day at night 9:00pm, sometimes twice during week days, on weekends I feed more often, morning and night.

%90 of the food tank gets is frozen food, one large feeding of mixture of Roggers and Rod's food along with some mysis, and formula 1. Second or third feedings if I happend to do, are almost always formula 1 flake food (small amounts).

Tank looks great cagri. Another tank that I can dream to turn mine into one day. The high standard of many of the tanks on here can only striveto make your own better. Sometimes I wish I had more funds/time and I would be able to get there that little bit faster.
 
2 Year mark photos... there is no room for any corals anymore, a lot of shaded corals are dying underneight faster growing corals, survival of the fittest.
