14 gallon tank

My wife would like me to set up a seahorse tank in a 14 gallon octagnal tank me have. It has a crappy filter and lighting I am looking for suggestions

I would suggest using that as a sump, perhaps, and invest in a larger tank if you really want seahorses.

I have a 90 reef tank and though it would be nice to put them in our second tank

With the exception of Dwarf Seahorses, seahorses typically require a tank three times their length, unfurled. They require a lot of vertical room to mate, as well as roam their environment.

It's also best to have a larger tank, as seahorses are a heavy bioload on the tank, due to the two to three times they must be fed a day, and the amount of waste they create.
