140 gal stock trough sump build

For some crazy reason I havent been happy with my current 55 gal sump that sits under my 120 gal tank so I'm upgrading to a 140 gal stock tank. By doing this I will also be able to tie my 50 gal frag tank into the system and eliminate the need for some redundant equipment. This upgrade will increase my total volume to roughly 270 gallons.

I'm half way through this madness so I though I'd share some pictures and collect some feedback before I finished.

What is still to come: I need to empty my two existing sumps into the stock trough, finish the plumbing to connect the two tanks and re plumb my skimmer (a PM Bullet 2).

This setup is going to look pretty funny and exposed for a while but eventually my plan is to move into a place where I can install the display tank into a wall and hide all of the equipment in a room behind it.

The frags are hanging with fishing line from 3 lengths of acrylic rod. I've got a freakishly large amount of anthelia, kenya tree coral and xenia in there too... I have a hard time even giving it away.

Awesome. I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my frag tanks. Was it difficult to drill through the trough tank?
