I found a wierd thing in my tank. Its hard spherical with a point on the top. Sorry no pic What is it?

no it looks like a spiral stair case big at one end and tapers to a point

no i have seen a limpet in my tank. this is almost like yarn thikhness looks like you took a wire wrapped it around your finger a pulles it off in a spiral shape
