At my local "Christmas Tree Shops" store I saw these and other animated christmas decorations for $15

Not sure how wide stretching these stores are but here in the NorthEast you can't walk a mle without seeing one.

Not to go off topic but, I think your bulb is bad. A 10k bulb should not be that green.

Just an update. This mod works great but last night it failed. It still works, however after so many reversing cycles, somehow it now reverses on its own randomly. I have since removed it for further inspection. Maybe taking the thing apart will let me know why its doing this. It has been run 24/7 for 6 weeks.
