150 cube started

What you mean plug holes. ???? If you are mentioning or referring to the last rock on top, I did not drill it all the way through so it acts like a cap.

Guess if i said drill holes for the frag plugs it would have been 100% more clear. All i can say is DA!! to me lol

aw, man... sweet. This is the tank I've been looking at if I get to upsize with the new house a couple years from now. My LFS has one sitting in the store. Will be watching this build closely...

Been Pretty Slow today,, just filling water container,,,, container is only 65gal. 5hours in and I almost have 60gallons

Decided last night that the 20long was not going to cut it, I ordered a 30 gal sump with no baffles so I can design them myself. Measurements for sump is 30x15x15. I was having a hard time finding a skimmer rated over 200gallons that would fit my available space. I will continue to use the 20long until it arrives.

Mines 24x15x15 wish i bought a longer one. But i use a mrc2 skimmer outside the sump, Mine moves water around like Niagara falls in my sump and the return on my mrc2 is like a complete separate fall of it's own in there.

Current tanks: 120 reef, 45 hex reef, 150 gallon reef, 20 gallon quarantine, 2-40 gallon frag tanks all glass,40 gallon sump, mrc2 skimmer, Digital Aquatics controls, Panworld 50px and 100px return pump system, BRS phosphate reactor.3-250 MH lighting with 4 blue actinics and full DA moonlight system.

Just hook an electric fencer around it for a week or so that will keep them away LMAO
1 good sting goes a long way for child control!

UPDATE:

Finished Plumbing between last night and this morning. 95% of Plumbing is threaded. I have broken down and thrown away way to much plumbing to not do this. Plus if I ever move I can easily remove and put back together.

As you can see all the plastic under the stand. There is 2 sheets of 4mil plastic that runs up the sides about 2.5 inches. I am doing this so it is easier to contain any spills and to save my stand.

We have water. It took me about 1hr to fill the tank and sump. It went alot faster than expected. Obviously Cloudy in this pic. I did not rinse my sand prior to adding in tank. I did that one time along time ago. PAIN IN THE ---,,, never again

clearing up in about 2hrs,,, When putting water in tank I used a pump from a skimmer and ran the water down the rocks as to not disturb the sand to much.
